Engaging AirMac Aerial Imaging
Where:
Before reading this section, please familarize yourself with our Service Area. Although AirMac can - and does - work on projects outside of our Service Area, imaging for these projects will normally be acquired via partner operators closer to the site, then footage will be readied for delivery at AirMac's facility.
What: When you're ready to discuss a potential project, the best approach is for you to call us. See our contact information. If you are a professional in one of the industries we serve you'll already know exactly what you need. But, if you're not exactly sure, let's talk about the options. When: Because AirMac's team consists of multiple pilots, located throughout our service area, we can normally respond quickly in the cases of forensic flights for insurance purposes, power/instructure or energy field needs. Prioritizatoin is given to emergencies. Who owns the files: Simple. You do. If you commision AirMac to gather data, images or footage, it's all yours. AirMac reserves the right to utilize non-forensic imaging for example purposes, but only with your permission. Said a different way, when we fly a mission for you, everything we capture is yours alone. If you're OK with it, maybe we can use an excerpt for an example. Cost: Multiple factors influence project pricing including fuel cost, number of pilots required, number of ground support people required (Line of Sight spotters, etc.,) the type of deliverable required (full production vs. photogrammetric mapping vs. digital delivery of unedited recon footage, etc. ) along with numerous other factors. We don't publish a written price list as no two projects are the same. That said, it is always our mission to create significant value for our clients. Dollar cost is only one aspect of that. Is there an agreenent: Usually. Because AirMac's resources (including time) are part of the value equation, it's important that everyone understands what's expected, what it will cost, how and when it will be delivered and who owns it. AirMac provides a simple, digital agreement that can be accepted virtually.

Certifications of Deliverables
Special cases require special documentation. Here are a few examples:
We cover all type of services but typically:
- Forensic and Recon Video can be delivered with a accomanying time/date geotagging file that includes lat/lon coordinates, altitude and exposure data. This file can be switched on an off using a standard media player's subtitles.
- Videos can be hosted on AirMac's Vimeo platform to prevent alteration with URL's available for linking to a client presentation. These videos can be posted twice for each instance - once with the geotagging visible and once without geotagging.
- Certificated and notarized authenticity and accuracy documents (and Affidavits) can be provided in forensic or recon missions.
